ABOUT MDL :
MLD is a comprehensive architectural and design service offered by myself as an independent designer with over 25 years of international experience across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, giving you one to one access to myself as principle designer (for all design stages). For projects of a larger scale, I also work closely with a team of independent designers who have worked with me at different locations and project types from around the world, providing you with the best possible services available without boarders.
My portfolio spans a wide range of sectors, including private luxury villas, developer housing, apartment buildings, mixed-use developments, hotels, and large urban redevelopment projects.

Throughout my career, I have worked on complex and demanding projects, developing a strong understanding of diverse building types and design environments. In the UK, my experience has focused on the housing and mixed-use development sectors, while my international work has expanded to include luxury villas, private mansions, large residential complexes (over 100,000 m²), mixed-use urban developments, hotels, and master planning projects.​ This extensive experience covered the entire design process — including architecture, interior design and landscape design - from feasibility studies and concept design through to detailed design, design management, authority approvals, site supervision, to client handover. This full-spectrum experience has given me a uniquely comprehensive experience and understanding of all project stages, design types, and scales, allowing me to deliver coordinated, efficient, and high-quality results.
While my primary focus under MLD studio is for architectural design, I also offer high-end interior design and landscape design, supported by 3D visualisation and animation as a standard part of my workflow.

REMOTE WORKING SYSTEM :
Embracing the evolution of the modern architectural process, I have fully integrated Building Information Modelling (BIM) and online collaborative platforms into my workflow. These systems ensure accurate, coordinated, and transparent design information, while remote collaboration tools enable seamless communication with clients and supporting design consultants from anywhere in the world. This approach allows for greater client involvement, offering convenient access to design consultation meetings and workshops that fit around each client’s schedule and commitments.

Building Control Approval (Uk and Ireland)
MLD guides the client through the building control approval stages across the UK and Ireland. With a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, MLD ensures that each stage of the design process aligns seamlessly with building regulations, and that the approved applications do not alter or compromise the client’s original concept, preserving the design integrity and vision that the client has fallen in love with from the early concept design stages.

Contractor - Pre and Post Contract (Uk and Ireland - (worldwide on special request))
MLD offers continued support services to include the development of building control drawings into a package of drawings and specifications in sufficient detail for Tender and Contract stages.
Interior Design (World wide service coverage)
MLD has significant experience in interior design and interior projects delivery on site (offered on only larger projects if required outside the UK and ireland), completing works on several multi million dollar fitout projects in different countries and cultures where the standard of interior design is at the highest level.
This experience ensures the highest standard of detailing and design approach, providing a standard of detail far beyond normal requirements.
3D Visualization (World wide service coverage)
MLD has developed an in-house 3D visualization services that includes still renders, animations and virtual /augmented reality as part of the concept and planning approvals processes.
Due to a personal passion for architectural visualization, this service is also available as a service to other designers, with the option for the 3D model to be developed in BIM (Revit or ArchiCAD) and transferred to the designers as part of the 3D visualization service to accelerate their overall project workflow.
